When results are displayed, moving the mouse near the x-axis shows the alignment of individual phasors and the resultant phasor.
The intensity in the sidebands is exaggerated to make them visible.
Notice the change of scale on the y axis when the slit width is increased. For a slit width below a certain value the maximum value of factional intensity on the y axis is 1 and for those above it it is 0.1.
You can view the experimental arrangement from different perspectives by dragging with the mouse, but I guess this option is best unused. You can also shift the arrangement by double clicking any where in the applet area.
