How long have you…..? Questions for grammar – discussion:

1) Have you got a computer? How long have you had it? When did you get it? What do you use it for? What do you like/hate about it? What do you like/hate about the Internet?

2) Have you got a pet? How long have you had it? On what occasion did you get it? Describe its character and habits. How do you look after it?

3) Choose one of your important possessions (it can be anything - a bike, a book, a piece of clothing, a jewellery), describe it and talk about it. How long have you had it. How and when did you get it? Why is it important to you? Where do you keep it? etc
